Tradespeople are paying thousands of pounds a year just to be found online. Checkatrade, Rated People, MyBuilder: they all charge subscriptions, lead fees, or both. Those costs get passed straight on to homeowners through higher quotes. We think that is wrong.

Tradesfolk is a completely free platform. Free to list, free to contact, free to use. We make money from partnerships with trade insurance providers, tool suppliers, and other services. Never from the tradespeople or homeowners who use the platform.

We built this because we believe the best tradespeople should be found on the quality of their work, not the size of their advertising budget.
